Shop Hops, Block of the Month, Retreats, and similar quilting events are encouraged by Raggedy Ruth
DesignsTM for the growth of the quilting industry.
Raggedy Ruth DesignsTM offers a single event license where a use license on any desired pattern shown below. With all
of the licenses [except the Quilt of Many Colors] a pdf of that pattern can be obtained for a single fee, usually $75.00
- $125 [Block of Many Colors I, II, & III]. As more people are involved in the BOM, Shop Hop, or other event,
the cost per pattern decreases. The Quilt
of Many Colors is priced differently. It has a shop kit [$25] and monthly pattern packs of 10 patterns for the month
for $10. This results in a pattern cost of roughly $12 per participant, which is the cost of the single pattern. The patterns available under these
programs are: - The Quilt of Many Colors;
- Bear Paw Sampler;
- Block of Many Colors I;
- Block of Many Colors II;
- Block
of Many Colors III;
- Don't Fence Me In.

The requirements depend upon the event
involved, but an example of the limitations might be:
- The
pattern can be divided and copied as required for the use. Examples are: 1) so that each shop has a portion of the
pattern to distribute; or, 2) so that there is a pattern portion for each month/period.
- The Raggedy Ruth DesignsTM logo and identifying
information must remain on the pattern or parts that are distributed.
- This is a single event or series. An additional
license is required for the event to be repeated [e.g. BOMs repeated or use in additional hops].
- Any patterns sold as single patterns are not subject to this licensing and are subject to the
normal wholesale price being paid to Raggedy Ruth DesignsTM.
